ZOOKEEP POSITIONS
Head of Business Development & Strategy
Mission
You will drive ZooKeep’s strategic commercial and organizational development activities by designing and refining ZooKeep’s commercial, financial and organizational models required to execute on business objectives. You will also own the development and deal structuring of partnership relationships to enhance and compliment ZooKeep’s core digital and consulting offerings.
Responsibilities
- Identify, develop and support the execution on business opportunities throughout the ZooKeep business ecosytem
- Partner with Marketing, Product Management, Sales and Engineering to plan and launch new products and services
- Support management in the formulation and messaging of investment materials for future fundraising activities
- Conduct industry research and equip management and sales teams with necessary data and insights to make informed decisions and compete to win
- Manage strategic alliance and partnership relationships to enhance the overall solution offering provided to ZooKeep customers while maximizing revenue opportunities for the business
- Support business portfolio management and business optimization activities to drive effective market positioning and market share gains in key battle ground markets necessary to drive ZooKeep business growth
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in corporate strategy, planning or commmercial management, ideally within B2B SaaS markets
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to “reduce market noise” through qualitative and quantiative analysis
- Ability to develop and analyze financial models and the impact of business strategy decisions on future financial performance of the business
- Experience designing, incubating and launching a new business model either at a startup or within a new business unit in a larger organization is highly desired
- Direct commercial and legal negotiation experience
- Self-motivated leader who builds quality relationships at all levels of stakeholder engagements throughout the ZooKeep business ecosystem
- Languages: Japanese (native or bilingual), English (limited professional)
